Refunds:
There will be no refunds after the second week of classes. Rooftop Rhythms reserves the right to cancel a class due to insuffucient registration. Students will then have the option to be placed in another age/level appropriate class. Costume deposits are refundable through December 1st only. After that date the costume becomes the property of the student.
Payments:
Payments are to be made on the first of the month stated in the tuition listing. A late fee of $15 will be charged for any payment made after seven days of due date. There will be a $20 fee for all returned checks.
Dress Code:
We ask that all students wear proper dance attire at all times. Baggy pants, T-shirts, or shorts will not be allowed. Leotards, tights, jazz pants and form-fitting dance pants are permitted. Boys may wear t-shirst and sweat pants as long as they fit properly. It is imperative that the teachers can see a student's form for correct placement of the body! Long hair must be pulled back away from the face. Students who sre not appropriately dressed will not be allowed to participate in class!
Shoes/Dancewear:
All students must be sized for the appropriate dance shoe(s) prior to the first day of clas/classes. We strongly urge you to come to the studio for sizing during our open registration (see Registration page for dates and times).
Shoes must be paid for at the time of ordering.
We cannot guarantee your shoes if they are not pre-ordered. We have no control over backordered shoes from our shoe distributor.
Shoe Requirements:
Ages 3-8:
Tap: White patent leather Maryjane (Black shoes not acceptable!)
Ballet: Pink leather full sole (No "Totes" ballerina slippers!)
Jazz: Black leather split sole (only for students taking jazz)
Ages 9-10:
Tap: Natural heel character shoe
Ballet: Pink leather split sole
Jazz: Black leather slpit sole
Ages 11-18:
Tap: Black flat jazz/tap shoe
Ballet: Pink split sole
Jazz: Black leather slpit sole
All hip hop classes must have required black hip hop sneakers!
Scheduled Events:
Recital will be held on Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6, 2009.
Picture Day is Sunday, April 13 (subject to change). This is mandatory for all students!
